Southern Sun by Paul Oakenfold on YouTube
This beautiful song made my summer of 2002. For me it will always be connected to friends, sunshine, the North Sea, desire and young love.
“Southern Sun” belongs to the album “Bunkka” which I bought several years later and still love today. You can find collaborations with Emiliana Torrini, Shifty Shellshock from Crazy Town and Nelly Furtado on it.
If you don’t know Oakenfold at all you might be surprised that he produced the original soundtrack for the film Swordfish and the song “Celebration” for Madonna.
Who Is Elvis by Interactive on YouTube.
Interactive was a dance act of the early 90s. You may know them from their Happy Hardcore cover of Alphaville’s “Forever Young”. One part of Interactive is Ramon Zenker. The German producer is widely unknown by his name, but he was part of several successful music projects during the 90s and early 2000s, such as Bellini, Fragma, Hardfloor, and Paffendorf.

Tonight I’m going to attend a concert of RJD2 in Uppsala, Sweden. I don’t know much of his work but what I know is really cool stuff and I love sampling. I’m so excited!
